My client in the Bacup area is looking to add an experienced Assembly / Production Operative to their team. They manufacture a range of products for multiple industries, and the role involves working across different stages of the production process.
The Role
- Working on various production and assembly machinery
- Feeding raw materials into machines
- Operating lifting equipment and general production machinery
- Performing basic quality checks and testing
- Assembling, packing and labelling finished goods for dispatch
- Order picking and packing
- Dressing raw castings (cutting aluminium castings, grinding, drilling, tapping, minor assembly)
Hours
Monday to Friday 08:00–16:45
Experience Required
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in plastics is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work safely and follow production processes
