Assistant Quantity Surveyor Leicester (office based) About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a commercial team at their Leicester Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in a professional and fast-paced construction environment. You will work alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience across a range of projects, from pre-construction through to final accounts. You\’ll also benefit from mentoring, structured training, and the opportunity to work towards professional accreditation through the APC after an initial settling-in period. Key Responsibilities – Assist in preparing subcontract package documents to issue for tender, upon return assist in the package analysis accordingly. – Support in measurement and valuation of works, including attending site visits. – Assist in reviewing subcontractor applications and managing payment processes. – Monitor variations and support with accurate cost tracking. – Support in preparing interim and final account statements. – Work closely with the project team to ensure commercial control throughout the project lifecycle. – Assist in compiling and reviewing subcontractor packages and documentation. – Maintain clear records and assist in reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
