We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer to join a construction project inEdinburgh. This is a 7-week contract working under the direction of the on-site Foreman, assisting with rip-out works, material handling and general site duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out rip-out and strip-out works as instructed.
- Assist with general labouring duties across site.
- Move materials, equipment and waste safely around site.
- Support site trades and the Foreman with day-to-day project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow manual handling procedures when moving materials.
- Report hazards, incidents or unsafe conditions immediately.
Requirements
- Valid Green CSCS Card (essential).
- Previous experience working on construction sites.
- Own tools required.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work safely within a busy construction environment.
- Full PPE required:
- Safety Boots
- Hi-Vis Vest
- Hard Hat
- Gloves
- Eye Protection
- Ear Protection
- Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 07:30am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate
- £17.80 per hour
