Rate: £36.00 per hour (Umbrella) | £27.27 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

The Role

We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Roofers to join a nursery refurbishment project in Glasgow.

This is a short-term contract working on the refurbishment of an educational facility, carrying out outhouse roof re-felting works as part of a wider upgrade project.

Duties Will Include

• Removing existing roofing materials where required
• Installing new roofing felt systems
• Carrying out repairs and refurbishment works to outhouse roofs
• Ensuring all roofing works are completed to a high standard
• Working safely at height and following all site health & safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area throughout the project

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Roofing Occupations or equivalent
• Valid CSCS Card (Green minimum requirement)
• Previous roofing experience, including felt roofing and refurbishment projects
• Understanding of health and safety procedures for working at height
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
• Experience working on education, healthcare, or public-sector refurbishment projects would be advantageous

Desirable

• Roofing apprenticeship qualification
• Specialist flat roofing or waterproofing experience
• Additional working at height or roofing-related certifications

Pay & Benefits

• £36.00 per hour Umbrella
