The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a growing and successful contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North West.
You'll play a key role in delivering multiple new build industrial and warehouse developments, with project values ranging from £11m to £14m. This is a career-defining opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who can take full ownership of schemes from pre-construction through to completion.
Working closely with senior leadership, consultants, design teams and site personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
You will take responsibility for managing major new build developments, including:
- Leading projects from groundworks through to final handover
- Managing industrial and warehouse schemes valued between £11m and £14m
- Coordinating and managing the design process alongside external consultants
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specification
- Managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Overseeing health & safety, quality and programme performance
- Chairing site and progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Working closely with senior management to drive successful project delivery
- Providing leadership and direction to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering new build construction projects from start to finish
- Previous responsibility for projects valued between £11m and £14m
- Strong industrial, warehouse, logistics or commercial construction background
- Experience managing design teams and external consultants
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of programme management and project delivery
- Engineering background highly advantageous
Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
- Additional construction qualifications are beneficial
