Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
Pay Rate:£12.71 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Oldham. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly of aluminium light boxes, working at a bench and using a variety of power tools to screw and fix metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling aluminium light boxes to specification
- Working on a bench using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, screwdrivers)
- Reading and following technical drawings or instructions
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an assembly or production role
- Confident using power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
