The Role
Working closely with the Senior Estimators, you'll be involved in all aspects of the tendering and estimating process, supporting the delivery of multiple projects across the fit-out and interiors sector. Initially, you'll assist on larger tenders while taking ownership of smaller projects independently. As your experience develops, you'll be given the opportunity to work on increasingly larger and more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Senior Estimators with tender submissions
- Preparing estimates and cost plans for fit-out projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing take-offs and pricing schedules
- Supporting the tendering process from enquiry through to submission
- Managing smaller tenders independently
- Working with the wider commercial and operational teams
- Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within an estimating role or construction environment
- Experience using estimating and tendering software
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Experience within the fit-out or interiors sector
- Experience using ConQuest estimating software
- Exposure to commercial construction projects
