The Opportunity
Our client is an established fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering projects across London and the South. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a range of projects across the region.
This is a roaming Project Manager position, with responsibility for managing projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.
The role would suit a Project Manager with a trade or construction delivery background who is comfortable working across multiple sites and managing projects within secure/public-sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Manage projects from pre-start through to practical completion and handover.
- Plan and coordinate site activities, labour, materials and subcontractors.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Develop and manage programmes, logistics plans and short-term works schedules.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed programme, budget and quality standards.
- Monitor project costs, variations, procurement and commercial performance.
- Review drawings, specifications and construction information to identify issues and opportunities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, design teams and project stakeholders.
- Lead progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Manage project risks, issues and changes throughout the build.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety, quality and environmental requirements. xgikmsk
