We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Heywood for an experienced FLT Reach Truck Driver / PPT Driver to join their warehouse team.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability and commitment.
Duties
- Order picking and preparing goods for dispatch
- Moving stock around the warehouse using PPT and Reach Truck
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling of products up to 15kg
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Please note that this role is predominantly warehouse-based, with around 80% of the time spent picking and handling stock and around 20% operating FLT equipment.
- Hours & Pay
- Paid for 8 hours per day
- Unpaid lunch break
- Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm
- Some flexibility on start and finish times, providing 8 hours are worked
- Overtime available and paid at time and a half
- Two weeks' training provided on commencement
Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date Reach Truck licence
- Valid and up-to-date PPT licence
- Licences must be from a recognised accredited provider
- In-house licences cannot be accepted
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work at a good pace
