To operate manufacturing machinery and assemble ironing boards and air dryers in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused environment.
The role involves ensuring production targets are met, maintaining high product standards, and supporting continuous improvement within the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery used in the manufacture of ironing boards and air dryers.
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
- Maintain accurate production records where required.
- Assembly Work
- Assemble components and finished products according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Package completed products ready for dispatch.
- Assist with product rework when required.
- Quality & Safety
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report defects, hazards, or quality issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
- Support quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- General Duties
