Time for Teeth are looking for a GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our Yorkshire team, supporting the delivery of high-quality NHS dental care within our secure-setting across the Yorkshire sites. Working as part of a friendly and professional dental team, you will also be an integral part of the wider healthcare environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient care. Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, tidy and sterile clinical areas and ensure all equipment meets required standards.
- Ensure all CQC and compliance standards are met.
- Provide chairside support to the dentist and wider clinical team.
- Set up, decontaminate and sterilise instruments.
- Maintain stock levels within clinic.
- Update and manage patient records accurately.
- Complete monthly clinic performance reports.
- Support the safety and wellbeing of all patients.
- Comply with all Health & Safety and infection-control requirements, including PPE, COSHH and waste management.
- Complete mandatory training and CPD in line with GDC requirements.
- Manage laboratory request forms.
- Support other duties as required for the safe and efficient running of the service.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified with 2+ years of dental nursing experience
- GDC registered
- Hold dental indemnity insurance (required on appointment)
