Time for Teeth are looking for a GDC registered Dental Nurse to join our West Midlands team, supporting the delivery of high‑quality NHS dental care within our secure‑setting clinic(s) at HMP Oakwood / HMP Dovegate / HMP Hewell. Working as part of a friendly and professional dental team, you will also be an integral part of the wider healthcare environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient care. Salary: Competitive hourly rate

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday. 37.5 hrs per week.

Site/s: HMP Oakwood, HMP Dovegate, HMP Hewell.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and highly motivated Dental Nurse who can work well as part of a team and use their own initiative when needed. Strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and a positive work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain clean, tidy and sterile clinical areas and ensure all equipment meets required standards.
  • Ensure all CQC and compliance standards are met.
  • Provide chairside support to the dentist and wider clinical team.
  • Set up, decontaminate and sterilise instruments.
  • Maintain stock levels within clinic.
  • Update and manage patient records accurately.
  • Complete monthly clinic performance reports.
  • Support the safety and wellbeing of all patients.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety and infection‑control requirements, including PPE, COSHH and waste management.
  • Complete mandatory training and CPD in line with GDC requirements.
  • Manage laboratory request forms.
  • Support other duties as required for the safe and efficient running of the service.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • GDC Registered
  • Fully qualified with 2+ years of dental nursing experience
  • Hold Dental indemnity insurance (required on appointment)
