Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurance Company based in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a professional Underwriting Assistant. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Processing in-depth mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business and issuing all relevant documentation.
  • Preparing and issuing claims listings.
  • Liaising with brokers and other departments within the company
  • Assisting trainees and apprentices with processing
  • Skills and Experience required:

  • Min 1 year experience of working in an underwriting support role or similar Insurance position
  • Experience in processing midterm adjustments and basic adjustments, and renewal processing
  • Strong understanding of the Insurance industry
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Professional and articulate
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Educated to A Level standard as a minimum (or the equivalent)
