The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Our client is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Security & Network Engineer to strengthen their team in their Ipswich offices. You will be a member of the IT Operations team, supporting the delivery of vital projects and the production and presentation of networking and cyber related materials. Please be advised this position is initially a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their security requirements and enhance the overall risk management.
  • Produce reports for staff presentation.
  • Manage the implementation, testing and monitoring of security controls across the IT Systems.
  • Carry out training content and sessions to educate employees and enhance cybersecurity awareness.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Practical experience with Entra ID/Azure/InTune.
  • The principles of SOC and SIEM.
  • Exposure to eSet or similar Security tools suite including MDR/XDR.
  • Previous experience with Data backups/recovery and cloud solutions.
  • An understanding of Cyber threats and tracking of Cyber risk.
  • Knowledge of external cyber threat frameworks such as Mitre/NIST.
  • MC licensing control.
