Job Description
We are working on behalf of a fast-growing Insurtech TPA who are looking for a Property Claims Director to join their team!\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join as a Property Claims Director, heading up a team of professionals and shaping the future of claims management.\\n\\nAs a Property Claims Director, you’ll lead a team of claims specialists handling a diverse portfolio of agriculture and property claims. Using your expertise, leadership skills, and a tech-driven mindset, you’ll drive operational excellence, deliver outstanding client service, and ensure compliance with industry standards.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Leading and managing a team of claims professionals across agriculture and property.\\n\\n * Driving performance, achieving operational targets, and exceeding client expectations.\\n\\n * Implementing best practice claims handling processes (intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery).\\n\\n * Analysing claims data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\\n\\n * Acting as escalation point for complex or disputed claims, ensuring effective resolution.\\n\\n * Overseeing reserving practices, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal/regulatory standards.\\n\\n * Building strong relationships with farmers, landowners, brokers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.\\n\\n * Attracting, training, and developing a high-performing, collaborative team.\\n\\n * Partnering with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and client outcomes.\\n\\nPrevious Skills & Experience:\\n\\n * Minimum Dip CII (or working towards).\\n\\n * 10+ years in insurance claims management (property, agriculture, liability, or motor with bodily injury preferred) and at least 6 years’ leadership experience.\\n\\n * Comfortable using and evolving claims systems to boost efficiency and outcomes.\\n\\n * A natural leader who values collaboration, empathy, and professional development.\\n\\n * Able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on detail.\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n * Generous health insurance plan\\n\\n * Pension scheme with employer contributions\\n\\n * Private medical and dental insurance\\n\\n * Competitive holiday allowance plus bank holidays\\n\\n * Professional qualification support (CII exams fully funded after qualifying period)\\n\\n * Fully remote working to support work-life balance\\n\\n * Apple laptop, dual monitor, and all equipment provided
