Time Appointments are working alongside an innovative Claims Management company who are currently recruiting for an experienced Personal Injury & Credit Hire Claims Team Leader to strengthen their UK based operations. The successful candidate will become part of a growing company who offer great routes of progression and industry qualifications to further skills and development.

As a Team Leader, you will oversee and support a team of Motor Claims Adjusters handling Personal Injury and Credit Hire claims. You'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining technical excellence, ensuring service standards are met, and developing your team through effective coaching and mentoring. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will provide technical oversight on complex Personal Injury and Credit Hire claims, supporting your team while managing your own caseload of high-value and technically challenging files. You will oversee claims from instruction through to settlement, ensuring they are handled efficiently, in line with delegated authority, client service standards, and regulatory requirements. You will also liaise with insurers, solicitors, and other key stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience handling both Personal Injury and Credit Hire motor claims.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing a Motor Claims team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Personal Injury and Credit Hire claims handling.
  • Proven experience managing claims from instruction through to settlement.
  • Experience working within delegated authority limits.
  • Strong knowledge of the OIC and MOJ Claims Portals.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Strong influencing, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to manage workloads and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous professional development.
