We are looking for a talented Sales Executive to join our client who are a world-renowned business. You will be joining small but focused sales team, selling advanced supply chain logistics management services as well as FCL, LCL, air freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. This role is NOT limited to the traditional selling of ocean freight rates; the client is seeking someone who will embrace their company philosophy as well as comprehensively learning about what products they offer and why clients should choose them over their competitors. This is a national role so applicants must be prepared for UK wide travel, but you will be fully supported by a large back-office team. Skills & experience required: * At least 2 year’s sales experience in the logistics industry * Understand and actively target the right clients to fit the products * Exceptional communication skills, able to work with internal inside sales and customer service departments * Maintain healthy working relationships, building rapport and trust with the existing customer base * Identify business development potential in existing clients to increase profitability of accounts * Comfortable with Change Management – agility is required to keep up with the company direction and a rapidly changing logistics, shipping and I.T. environment * Full UK driving license.
