Key Duties
- Prepare and review personal and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide tailored tax planning and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members, including reviewing their work and providing constructive guidance.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation and developments.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and providing proactive advice and support.
Skills & Experience Required
- ATT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE), with CTA/STEP study support available for those looking to further develop their qualifications.
- Previous experience in a tax role within a professional practice environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and positive approach, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
