This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service. Whether you already have recruitment experience or have developed transferable skills supporting a busy sales, account management or customer-focused team, we'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working alongside an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll become an integral part of a successful recruitment desk, taking ownership of candidate attraction, recruitment coordination and operational support while building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Candidate Sourcing & Attraction
    • Source, attract and engage high-quality candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, social media and internal databases.
    • Conduct targeted candidate searches for live vacancies.
    • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
    • Write engaging job adverts and advertise vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms.
  • Candidate Management
    • Register, screen and shortlist candidates against client requirements. Conduct telephone registrations and assess candidates' skills, experience, motivations and suitability.
    • Prepare professional candidate CVs and profiles for client submission.
    • Manage candidate expectations and maintain regular communication throughout the recruitment process. Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from initial contact through to placement.
  • Recruitment Coordination & Consultant Support
    • Provide day-to-day support to a Senior Recruitment Consultant in managing a busy recruitment desk.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of client portfolios, live vacancies and recruitment strategies to ensure seamless desk management.
    • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates.
    • Prepare candidates for interviews and provide guidance throughout the process.
    • Collect interview feedback and communicate outcomes promptly.
    • Assist with offers, negotiations, onboarding activities and pre/post-placement follow-up.
    • Act as a key point of contact for clients in the absence of the Senior Recruitment Consultant, responding to enquiries and providing recruitment updates.
    • Attend client meetings alongside the Senior Recruitment Consultant to gain a deeper understanding of client organisations, hiring needs and long-term workforce planning.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build lasting relationships with candidates and clients based on trust and professionalism.
    • Provide candidates with career advice and market insights.
    • Generate referrals and develop a network of specialist talent.
    • Support client relationship management and contribute to business development activities by identifying new market opportunities.
  • Database & Administration
    • Maintain accurate and compliant candidate and client records using our recruitment CRM.
    • Ensure all recruitment activity complies with GDPR, employment legislation and company policies.
    • Manage the administrative and operational aspects of the recruitment process, enabling the Senior Recruitment Consultant to focus on business development and client growth.

The successful candidate will be intelligent, articulate, confident and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll enjoy juggling multiple priorities, solving problems and taking ownership of your workload while always delivering a first-class service.
