Time Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a trusted Accountancy Firm based in Ipswich, who are currently recruiting for a Qualified Senior Accountant to join their remarkable team. This is an extremely varied role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking high quality accounts preparation, audit and tax compliance services for a range of business and private clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years recent accountancy practice experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including Corporation tax, VAT and income tax
  • Knowledge of current accounting standards and disclosure requirements in accordance with FRS102A and FRS105
  • Part AAT/ACCA qualified as a minimum
  • IT Literate with experience using role related software accounting software and financial reporting systems, in particular Xero
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail orientated, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
