We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a company based in Ipswich who are looking for a Desktop Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for applying technical expertise, industry knowledge and commercial opinion to assess vehicle damage.
Key Duties:
- Assess vehicle damage via images, estimates and reports.
- Ensure accurate repair outcomes in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Negotiate repair costs and settlements with stakeholders.
- Resolve repair viability or total loss outcomes using technical and engineering judgement.
- Recognise appropriate repair methods in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
