Time Appointments are excited to be working with a huge, well-established Construction firm based in Ipswich who are looking for an experienced Planner to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for working on varied construction projects across the region, contributing to the successful planning and delivery of high-quality developments. You will produce, manage and monitor project programmes to ensure timely delivery.

Key Duties:

  • Using industry-standard planning software you will prepare detailed construction programmes.
  • Develop pre-construction and tender programmes.
  • Liaise with the project teams, subcontractors and suppliers regarding the programme’s requirements.
  • Assist with resource planning.
  • Produce written methodology to describe the construction of the project to add into bid documentation.
  • Produce drawings on the project build.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a Planner within the construction industry.
  • Previous experience working with planning software.
  • Qualification in Construction Management, Civil engineering or related study would be beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, arrangements and processes.
  • Knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and contract documentation.
