Our client, a growing construction–based business, are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their thriving team based near Ipswich.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with extensive benefits, a very competitive salary, and the opportunity to gain further knowledge in the industry with a fixed term contract – with the potential to lead to a permanent position (although not guaranteed).
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating Health and safety measures
- Working with clients in terms of project delivery
- Guiding and supporting H&S regulations
- Writing risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Liaising with contractors and stakeholders
- Liaising with Clients and suppliers to obtain quotes, prepare invoicing and monitor timesheets.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven H&S experience gained within the construction industry
- Knowledge of construction industry databases.
- Great report writing skills
- Qualification in health and safety – NEBOSH
- Knowledge of the construction industry terminology.
- Driving licence
