We are delighted to be working alongside a leading company based on the outskirts of Colchester who are looking for a Technical Sales Advisor.
You will be responsible for promoting the company products to maximise specifications and sales.
You will liaise with colleagues in different departments of the company so good communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to orders and enquiries from specifiers, contractors, merchants and end users, ensuring information and support are provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Providing accurate and timely prices, quotations, information and answers by telephone, email or in writing, as appropriate.
- Receive, process and accurately record verbal and written sales orders, quotations and any subsequent amendments using the appropriate electronic systems and documentation.
- Receive, review and provide feedback on requests for new or modified products and parts, liaising with relevant departments where required.
- Understand, implement and comply with all relevant procedures and requirements set out in the company’s Quality Manual.
- Attend meetings, conferences, seminars and training sessions as required to maintain and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Support the training and development of staff, providing guidance and assistance as required.
Previous Skills & Experience
- Previous technical experience, preferably in a product-based, manufacturing or customer-focused environment.
- Excellent telephone manner and a good eye for detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload.
- Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of Dynamics 365 business central systems would be an advantage.
- Understanding of the importance of data protection and adherence to the process
