Job Description

We are proud to be working on behalf of a leading accountant’s firm who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Tax Senior to strengthen their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing business who value their employees.

Key Duties:

  • Prepare and review personal and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Provide tailored tax planning and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, including reviewing their work and providing constructive guidance.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation and developments.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and providing proactive advice and support.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • ATT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE), with CTA/STEP study support available for those looking to further develop their qualifications.
  • Previous experience in a tax role within a professional practice environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in dealing with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and positive approach, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
