Duties

Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule vehicle movements to ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.

Monitor daily transport plans and make adjustments where required.

Communicate effectively with drivers and customers regarding transport schedules and requirements.

Monitor vehicle movements and update internal systems with real-time transport information.

Resolve route, timing and other operational issues quickly and effectively.

Ensure transport activities are carried out in accordance with relevant UK transport regulations, health and safety standards and company procedures.

Support effective fleet utilisation and vehicle planning.

Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to optimise load planning and transport efficiency.

Maintain accurate records and ensure transport information is kept up to date.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on service levels, efficiency and safety.
