Our Client, A leading Independent Financial Advisers, has an excellent opportunity for a Level 4 qualified IFA to join their established team based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be required to meet clients to review financial circumstances, current provisions, and future aims in order to win new business. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing financial advice and intermediation to clients within FCA regulations and the firms procedures
  • Identifying and contacting potential clients
  • Liaising with product providers, human resources and other third parties
  • Gathering sufficient client information and understand their needs and personal finances
  • Analysing information gathered and undertake research and analysis of different financial contracts to make suitable recommendations
  • Completing supporting documentation, including preparing packs for meetings, completing application forms, producing accurate illustrations and understanding remuneration requirements
  • Writing the Suitability letter and other reports, e.g. pension shortfall analysis
  • Responding promptly to client enquiries regarding their existing arrangements and any changes in circumstances
  • Updating systems – keeping the back-office systems up to date
  • Assist in the day-to-day office functioning tasks

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive Financial Planning experience gained from a professional environment, with strong technical expertise
  • Level 4 IFA qualified as a minimum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to deal
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of MS Word, Excel & Outlook
