We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an award-winning client based in Suffolk who are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for providing advice and support to the company to ensure compliance with statutory Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements and internal standards.

Key Duties:

  • Support the completion and review of Safety, Health and Environmental risk assessments as required.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to requests for SHE guidance from colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure SHE considerations are integrated at all stages of activities, with appropriate control measures identified and implemented.
  • Carry out monitoring, inspections, and audits of company activities, offices, and work locations.
  • Investigate incidents as required, producing clear and factual reports that identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and external agencies where necessary.
  • Ensure an effective Safety, Health and Environmental training programme is in place and promote a positive safety culture across the organisation.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Previous 3 years’ experience within a Safety, Health and Environmental role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and health and safety IT systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Membership of a professional body (IOSH etc).
