We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome a Customs Clearance Coordinator to expand their team.
Key Duties:
- Liaise with customs authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate timely clearance of goods.
- Monitor and manage clearance status for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient customs processes.
- Provide customers with updates and proactively manage delays, discrepancies or documentation queries.
- Prepare and submit customs documentation required for import and export clearances.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Brilliant attention to detail & accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Deep Sea and EU customs clearance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
