As a Paraplanner, you will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to Financial Advisers, helping to deliver a high-quality, compliant, and client-focused financial planning service.

You will play a key role in preparing detailed suitability reports, conducting research, and ensuring that all advice provided meets regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing high-quality suitability reports and recommendation letters
  • Conducting detailed product, fund, platform, and provider research
  • Producing cashflow models and financial planning illustrations
  • Supporting advisers with complex case analysis and technical queries
  • Preparing client review packs and annual review documentation
  • Processing new business applications and ensuring accurate submission
  • Liaising with product providers, platforms, and clients where required
  • Ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating CRM / back-office systems
  • Assisting with audit preparation and file checks

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a Paraplanner role within financial services
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) preferred
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
  • High level of attention to detail and strong analytical ability
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads effectively
  • Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
