Main duties of the job:
- To oversee and direct line management of Complex Care Managers within the allocated portfolios of services.
- To be the operational lead for Mental Health.
- To ensure that services within the portfolio are meeting the organisations KPIs around quality, compliance and performance.
- Support the implementation of new services and referrals while working closely with the Business development team.
- Keep informed of legislative and policy changes to improve working practices and help inform the strategy.
- Lead on innovation relevant to CQC services.
- Develop and maintain strong effective partnership working with internal and external stakeholders.
- To deputise for the function of the Director of Operations during their absence, while, at all times, supporting the decisions made by the Director of Operations.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of current CQC regulations, health and social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a supportive critical friend role when reviewing internal audits and monitoring visits to ensure that Time4Us team ethos is encouraged to deliver continuous improvement.
- To ensure that Time 4 U achieves a minimum Good CQC rating.
- Deliver training to staff across the organisation when required, demonstrating excellent presentation and communications skills.
- The Area Service manager is expected to maintain an on-call facility and to cover holiday or sickness of colleagues.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social care or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Mental Health Social care services.
- Experience managing supported living services.
- Managing a portfolio of services.
