Role Description
Applicants must hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) qualification.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory safeguarding and pre-employment checks.

Hours
13.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm–5:30 pm (term time only). Additional hours may be available during school holidays, working on our holiday camps.
As an Early Years Educator you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the after‑school club, ensuring a safe, fun and engaging environment where children can enjoy free play and participate in a variety of planned activities.
You will lead the provision, manage and support the staff team on site, ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and behaviour, and oversee the smooth running of each session.
You’ll use your creativity to deliver exciting activities—from arts and crafts, games and board games to LEGO and experiments—while adapting your approach to meet the needs of children of different ages, ensuring every session is inclusive, enjoyable and memorable.
Key duties include
- Lead the provision, manage and support the staff team on site.
- Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and behaviour.
- Oversee the smooth running of each session.
- Deliver exciting activities tailored to children of different ages.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding and statutory requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact for parents, carers, schools and the Time4Sport management team during sessions.
- Be a key holder and lock up the facility.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 Early Years Educator (EYE) qualification.
- Experience working in a childcare setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a team within an early years or childcare setting.
- Confidence in managing day‑to‑day operation of an early years or wraparound childcare provision.
- Paediatric First Aid trained.
