Time 4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Solar Farm Site Manager for up to 6 months works on a solar farm in the Cardiff area. This is a great opportunity working for one of the most successful environmental and engineering service companies in the UK and beyond. This role could continue for the right candidate. As Solar Farm Site Manager you will be working with a main contractor who specialises in Renewable Energy and will be based on a solar farm working on a groundworks package with M&E components – which will including bulk earthworks and trenches. Due to the remote location and nature of the work you must be prepared to get dirty. As Site Manager a strong working history within the solar industry is essential. It will also be beneficial if you have some M&E experience / knowledge. In your role you will be responsible for all M&E and groundworks operations, including personnel safety, oversee daily work activities, managing multiple subcontractors, and communicating with the management team. In addition, the site supervisor is responsible for establishing site and individual goals, adhering to the site budget, including disciplinary actions, annual reviews and act as role model in field environment to ensure all procedures are followed as required. Essential requirements for this role: • SMSTS • First Aid certificate. • CSCS • Previous experience working on a solar farm is essential • M&E experience will be an advantage • Previous experience working in civils, groundworks, roads and trenches • Experience in a supervisory capacity • Computer experience required, creating spreadsheets and reports using MS Office packages Benefits • Temporary role up to approximately 6 months work.
