Time 4 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Experienced Permanent Carpenter to join an expanding family run business Cardiff who build bespoke Garden Rooms, Garage Conversions, Pergolas & Pagodas. This highly successful business has secured work for many months to come are focused ono growing their business with the right Carpenters on board, As a permanent Carpenter you will need to be experienced in first fix – building the structure of the garden rooms including Timber Framework, wall and room, and then 2nd fix – floors, doors, windows and finishing trades. I am looking for an Experienced Carpenter – to hit the ground running !!! – to join this expanding company. The Role … * To work closely with the company Director – designers and planners on construction projects * Matches materials to requested design specifications * Measures building materials and spaces for installation accurately * Assembles sturdy and well-constructed floorboards, skirting boards, window frames, doors, door linings, staircases, fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and more * Incorporates fixtures like door handles and locks, cabinet handles, and other fixtures into design and implementation * Builds the framework of a building, * Crafts furniture with fine detail work and/or utmost sturdiness and quality * Utilizes skills in other related trades such as plumbing, roofing, bricklaying, painting, tiling, plastering, etc. * Participates in first fixing as well as second fixing work * Combines carpentry work with joining work * Repairs and refurbishes existing building work * Replaces damaged wood in hardwood floors and outdoor decks * Uses power tools and other tools to cut and shape wood, metal, and other materials * Communicates with the rest of the construction team Certificates required; * Level 3 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery Benefits * Permanent role * Salary – £170 to £180 per day * To start – ASAP * Location – Cardiff If you are interested in this role please send your CV through the website to Hazel Baron
