Time 4 Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Painting Quantity Surveyor in New Romney / Southern Home Counties to join a well-established, high professional Painting and Decorating company who specialise in both internal and external coating applications for commercial and residential clients.
As Painting Quantity Surveyor, you will be working mainly out of their New Romney and Southern Home Counties Branch, with a variety of clients including modern offices, grade listed properties, public spaces, and high-end residential properties. You will be required on occasion to travel and stay overnight when visiting clients.
Duties:
- You will be responsible for working on painting and decorating projects on both commercial and residential properties.
- Must be able to prepare and submit monthly valuations.
- Will be required to read and understand contractual documents.
- Required to price and submit variations to sub-contractors by liaising with estimating, design, and site team, and then liaise with the main contractor to agree variations.
- Attend design meetings with clients and the design team to provide commercial support to designers.
You will be working mainly from their New Romney Office but will travel to different sites throughout Southern Home Counties.
Experience:
- Previous experience of working on Painting and Decorating Projects is essential.
- Surveying: 3 years minimum.
- Bachelor's degree – preferred but not essential.
Benefits:
- Excellent Salary £58k to £60k per annum dependant on experience and qualifications.
