Time 4 Recruitment have an opportunity for a temporary Logistics Manager in Tunbridge Wells for 12 months work – to join a working for a well-established, award winning, national main contractor. Our client specialises in key construction projects such as Hotels and Student Accommodation, Residential Projects and it is vital you have been a Logistics Manager on similar schemes previously. We are looking for a Logistics Manager for an immediate start in Tunbridge Wells for which could continue for the very long term for the right candidate. !!! This role is to start ASAP !!! This will be a Mon to Fri 7.30am to 6pm role and we require an experienced and well vetted candidate that comes with good references. Role requirements * Good Communication skills * Min 2 years’ experience in logistics manager role with similar skill set and responsibilities. * Liaise with all level of site management to ensure stock levels are kept to standard. * Manage and supervisor the movement and distribution of storage from the suppliers of specific sectors and labour site. * Monitor materials on site and levels in warehouse to ensure availability to all levels of staff. * Always keep the site tidy. * Play an active role in weekly logistics meetings and organising daily activities and looking ahead on-site * Traffic Marshall – Allocate and manage traffic team in a busy city centre area. * Good English, present the company well, work beside local residents and ensure we are managing expectations and at all times ourselves to a council approved construction environmental management plan * Good level of Health and Safety awareness * Computer literate, IT proficient and an ability to utilise basic software used for logistics. * Must have an SSSTS or SMSTS for this role.
