We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent General Builder to join an expanding Housing Contractor based in Cardiff, who predominantly focus on new build, social housing and council projects in Cardiff. This firm has secured work as far forward as 2027 and so looking for a Permanent Builder with bricklaying, and carpentry experience to grow within the company.
This company excels in working on new build and housing association which is the core of their business β covering other sectors including bespoke residential, and extensions.
As a permanent General Builder, you will be dealing with the main structural work including bricklaying, carpentry, superstructure and propping for steel installation plus some groundworks including foundations and drainage. Projects are located around Cardiff with the furthest being up in the valleys.
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a permanent background, with a solid history and proven track record with previous employers.
Certificates required
- Driving Licence
- NVQ or Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Bricklaying or
- NVQ or Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry
