The Company….. My client is a historic Care Home, providing good hearty nourishing meals on a daily basis, for both resident and visitors. In the heart of the community providing a caring service in all aspects for vulnerable adults. The Job.... To cook meals for residents and other customers as directed by daily menus, To keep Healthy Options and good Nutrition in mind when cooking and preparing meals. To ensure that portion control is maintained by being aware of the portion sizes allocated to any particular dish. The position is permanent, should it be a successful placement for the right individual. Benefits... * Day time hours - contract catering - 8am-6.30pm * Rota\'d days - alternate weeks of 3 days on then 4 days on the following week * Hourly paid * Lovely organization to work for * Parking on site & meals on duty * Opportunity to progress within the company The Person... ·Have experience of working in a commercial kitchen including the preparation, cooking and serving of meals ·To be qualified, or have proven training to a minimum of Level 2 in Food Preparation / Service and similarly in Food Safety.
