About the Company: Our client is a well-established contractor based in Liverpool, operating across office, education, and industrial warehouse sectors. With a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction, the company is now expanding its team to meet increasing demand.

The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic Estimator to join a growing team of three, reporting directly to the Managing Estimator. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of material costs and be able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including glazing, ceilings, walls, and partitions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Managing Estimator to allocate and manage job opportunities.
  • Support the team in responding to tender opportunities and pricing requests.
  • Maintain awareness of material and labour costs to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects to meet client deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of construction materials, costs, and project estimating.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable approach.
