As a researcher, you will have an initial training period of approximately eight weeks and you will then rotate through different sector teams, allowing you to gain exposure to all aspects of the business. Depending on experience, researchers will typically complete four to eight six-month rotations across the Financial Services and Corporate practices. This has many advantages including:

  • Enabling you to learn from a wide variety of colleagues
  • Successfully integrating you into the firm
  • Providing you with an opportunity to discover which specialism you are keen to develop your career in

They have high expectations and look for excellent academic achievements as well as strong communication skills, demonstrated initiative and pro-activity, and orientation towards teamwork.

As an Executive Search Researcher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Sourcing new candidates through networking, research and headhunting
  • Supporting senior researchers and consultants in sourcing for live roles
  • Attending client meetings and networking events
  • Extensive research in order to find prospective candidates

They welcome researchers into the firm to help them build a comprehensive service offering. They look for entrepreneurial-minded and ambitious individuals seeking to enhance practice capability and further the key values that underpin the firm.

A successful researcher in executive search must be hard-working, resilient, motivated, outgoing, ambitious and competitive.
