Skilled paint booth sprayer to join their growing workshop and assist in producing a variety of joinery items for residential and commercial sector

Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
- Mask off areas that should not be painted to ensure precise application.
- Select appropriate paints, coatings, or finishes based on job requirements.
- Apply paint or coatings evenly and consistently using various tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns).
- Ensure proper coverage and finish quality, making any necessary adjustments.
- Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and booths.
- Apply paint evenly and consistently to achieve a smooth finish.
- Adjust spray equipment settings for different materials and applications.
- Inspect finished doors for flaws, such as drips, streaks, or uneven coating.
- Make touch‑ups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards.
- Verify that colours and finishes match specifications.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure functionality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Keep work area clean and organised.
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately

Competitive rates of pay negotiable on experience
Experience
- Carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
- Paint Sprayer required to spray high quality wood windows, doors, and other wooden items to a high standard with a water‑based paint system.
Previous experience with air assisted airless gun would be advantageous but all training will be given as part of the job.
A knowledge of wood products would also be helpful but not essential.
- Applicants must be self‑motivated and able to work on their own or as part of a team.
