Business Developer W/M – Fertilizer & Agronomic Innovation. We are seeking individuals who are commercially minded and eager to drive meaningful change in the industry.
With a strong foundation and a clear focus on addressing the real and urgent challenges in agriculture, TIMAC AGRO UK aims to strengthen its presence in the market by identifying, developing and realising new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and realise new business opportunities to strengthen our presence in the market.
- Actively generate and develop leads to support market expansion.
- Accompany and support the sales teams in the field to help them achieve their objectives.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of partners including agricultural distributors and producers at local, regional or national level.
- Represent our brand at professional events and support the delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with our local and international teams to share best practices and drive innovation.
Qualifications / Profile
- Must hold an up-to-date FACTS qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum five years of experience in a sales / business development role within agriculture, crop nutrition, agronomy or related industries in the UK.
- Proven track record of generating leads, building customer relationships and closing deals in a competitive sales environment.
- Background in agribusiness and a strong passion for the agricultural sector and its key stakeholders.
- A natural networker who communicates and negotiates with ease.
- Ability to engage teams and stakeholders around ambitious and complex projects.
- Entrepreneurial and results-focused mindset.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Work Environment
Flexible work location in the assigned region. Ideally, candidates will be based in or near one of the following regions to support efficient field coverage: East – Lincolnshire/Hertfordshire/Norfolk/Suffolk; South Central – Hampshire/Wiltshire/Dorset/Sussex; South West – Devon/Cornwall/Somerset; Wales. Frequent travel required (approximately 4 days per week), including overnight stays.
