Key responsibilities
  • Drive new business and customer growth through proactive account management and field-based sales activity.
  • Build long-term relationships as a Trusted Advisor - understanding customer needs, providing practical advice, and delivering consistent follow-up to prove value and ROI.
  • Take full ownership of your accounts - using local insight to tailor solutions, build networks, and maintain a strong on-farm presence.
  • Deliver solutions, not products - diagnose customer challenges, recommend data-driven actions, and clearly demonstrate measurable impact.
  • Retain and grow accounts through regular follow up, data collection, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure ease and speed across the full sales cycle - from initial contact to delivery, application, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Use CRM to effectively manage pipeline, customer activity, and account performance.
  • Represent the business locally, strengthening brand presence and market development.
About you - Essential
  • Based locally to the advertised location and comfortable working in a field-based role (5 days per week).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • FACTS qualified, or motivated to work towards.
  • Passionate about sustainable agriculture and innovation.
  • Agricultural degree or relevant industry experience.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage and grow relationships and accounts.
