Key Responsibilities As a Tim Hortons Restaurant Shift/Floor Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with responsibilities including: Customer Service Lead by example, prioritizing customers. Ensure customer focus in all restaurant operations. Manage staff scheduling to meet customer demand. Support operational efficiency through regular store walks. People Encourage staff suggestions and address concerns. Provide performance feedback, set goals, and support development. Create a positive team environment that respects all employees and promotes dignity. Handle performance management in collaboration with HR. Driving Sales Understand sales trends, popular products, and peak times. Ensure proper merchandising and marketing campaign execution. Coach staff on upselling and suggestive selling techniques. Identify areas for improvement and motivate continuous enhancement. Operations Monitor KPIs such as sales, staff turnover, and safety standards. Set an example by maintaining composure under pressure. Oversee stock ordering, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness. Manage opening and closing procedures. Ensure food hygiene, safety standards, and customer experience are upheld. Report accidents or incidents promptly to the Regional Manager. Be flexible to work various shifts as part of the management team. Key Requisites Experience managing restaurants. Flexible and disciplined work approach. Food environment experience is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Commitment to food hygiene and safety standards.
