Key Responsibilities
As a Local Marketing Executive at Tim Hortons UK, you will support the brand’s rapidly growing restaurant network by planning and executing localised marketing initiatives that drive footfall, enhance community engagement, and strengthen brand visibility. Working closely with the Marketing Team and the wider Operations Team, you will help activate campaigns that align with Tim Hortons’ UK presence, following its aggressive growth trajectory since 2017. This role plays a key part in embedding the Tim Hortons brand into local communities amid its future UK expansion.
- Local Store Marketing Support
- Act as the first point of contact for stores, responding to day-to-day local marketing queries
- Manage shared marketing inboxes, ensuring responses within agreed SLAs
- Support new store openings and refurbishments, including campaign execution, asset coordination, and on-the-ground support where required
- Assist with local activation planning and in-store marketing rollouts
- Administration, Budget & Tracking
- Manage marketing administration, including invoicing, PO tracking, and budget reconciliation
- Maintain and update marketing trackers to ensure accuracy and visibility
- Support managers with cost tracking, redemption reporting, and ROI documentation for promotional activity
- Social Media & Community Management
- Manage day-to-day social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Monitor and respond to community engagement and customer enquiries, escalating issues where appropriate
- Support the planning and upkeep of the social media content calendar
- Track and report on social performance, highlighting trends and opportunities
- Internal Communications & Newsletter
- Collect, organise, and curate internal updates from across the business
- Support the creation and distribution of the regular internal marketing newsletter
- Ensure content is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand tone and priorities
- Creative & Photoshoot Preparation
- Support preparation for photoshoots, including organising ordering the food, props, and day coordination
- Liaise with internal teams and agencies to ensure shoots are well-prepared and efficiently delivered
- Assist with organising final assets and ensuring correct storage and access
- Competitor & Market Monitoring
- Collate competitor activity, promotions, and local market insights
Hybrid role – One day in the Egham Offices (every Monday), with 4 days of remote working, including visits to TH sites, when required by the business. Annual Leave – 25 days + Bank Holidays.
