Tilt is at the forefront of commerce, building a net-new way to buy and sell online. As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re rebuilding the CEO Office and seeking a Founders Associate to work directly with the CEO on Tilt’s OS, fundraising/investor relations and special projects. This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants not only to operate but also to build within a fast‑scaling consumer tech company. You will be doing everything from creating decks to building AI automations, to shipping code in production – nothing is out of scope in this role.
About Tilt: Tilt’s mission is simple: Make Commerce Alive. From static store website builders to impersonal marketplaces, today's ecosystem is aging fast. It was built for transactional experiences, not for the new generation of merchants who grow through attention, community and personality. In the UK alone, millions of shoppers have signed up to Tilt. Our platform has helped sellers go from zero to £1M+ in earnings, and hundreds more earn above the UK median income. And we are just getting started.
Your Mission: Tilt is levelling up. We are rebuilding the CEO Office to focus on three core pillars:
- Tilt’s OS: You will help build the foundations to ensure the business operates at unheard‑of levels. This covers:
- Data Science/Engineering: Building the source‑of‑truth tables for company‑wide analysis
- Operations: Perfecting our operating model to capture the ideal leading indicators for growth across markets and categories
- AI: Building the Git repo for Tilt’s OS
- Capital Raises & Investor Relations: You will help Tilt bring on world‑class investors and maintain strong relationships:
- Monthly investor updates (clear, timely, high‑signal)
- Board decks, board minutes, data rooms and follow‑ups
- Manage fundraising processes: pitch decks, memos, supporting materials, investor CRM
This role requires both an operational and an engineering mindset. You are the CEO’s right hand in ensuring Tilt is structurally ready for hyper‑growth.
What You’ll Do:
- 0 to 3 months: Rapid self‑directed learning to deeply understand Tilt, the market, and the CEO’s expectations and working style. Take full ownership of monthly investor updates. Dive deep into the current OS, data and team. Spot issues, build solutions.
- 3+ months: Build, build, build. Automate and systematise as much as possible. Help build investor relationships ahead of future raises. Shape strategies to increase external momentum and “buzz” around Tilt. Help ensure Tilt is consistently regarded as one of the most exciting consumer technology companies in the world. Launch new special projects (can be internal or external products).
Who You Are:
- Deeply interested in consumer technology: you read, track and think about the best companies.
- A builder: You can code and think in systems.
- An operator: You are organized, detail‑oriented and biased toward action.
- An excellent communicator: Written, verbal and visual communication are superhuman strengths; you must be exceptional at at least 2 of these.
- Autonomous: You do not require close supervision; you spot problems and solve them.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, pressure, and high‑expectation environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in fast‑paced, high‑autonomy startup environments, ideally Series B+
- Exposure to venture capital, private equity, or fundraising processes.
- Built automations or software applications before.
- Prior experience working directly with founders or CEOs.
Why Tilt:
- You’ll be joining a mission‑driven team backed by world‑class investors.
- You’ll own meaningful systems from day one, with real scope and autonomy.
- You’ll work alongside curious, kind, and wickedly smart teammates.
- You’ll help redefine how millions of people shop online.
