Interesting role combining 3rd line Support, Cisco networking and project work within a MS Windows based environment. You’ll be providing 3rd line IT technical support for 2 sites within the UK, supporting users both deskside and remote.

Technically, you will have a broad range of skills within a Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems environment including MS Server 2016 upwards, Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365 / O365, Microsoft Office 2016, VMWare and Active Directory and Group Policy experience. Experience of configuring Cisco switches is also needed as part of this role. Knowledge of Cisco commands and the ability to troubleshoot problems on Cisco switches will also be needed.

This role also has a packed project pipeline. You can expect to be working on a variety of Microsoft based projects so experience of project work such as installations would be an advantage. This is a great role for a good Microsoft generalist looking for a mixed role.

Taking ownership of problems, responding quickly to problems and relationship management will all be part of the role. Above all, enthusiasm for problem solving and for delivering exceptional customer service is required. This is a role where you’ll be liaising with key stakeholders within the business across all levels.

Onsite for the first 6 weeks, some flexibility for 2 days per week remote working afterwards.
