About the Organisation
As part of an exciting digital transformation programme, our client within the care and education sector is implementing the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS) to modernise learning and development across the organisation. We're looking for an LMS System Specialist to play a key role in preparing the platform for a successful go-live and ensuring its ongoing smooth operation.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented LMS System Specialist to take ownership of the day-to-day administration of their new Cornerstone LMS. Initially, you'll focus on supporting the final stages of implementation ahead of go-live, ensuring learning content, users, permissions and reporting are configured accurately. Following implementation, you'll become the subject matter expert for the platform, managing its ongoing administration and supporting colleagues across the business. This role would suit someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, has excellent organisational skills and enjoys improving systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Cornerstone LMS.
- Support the final implementation activities ahead of system go-live.
- Configure users, organisational structures, security roles and permissions.
- Upload, organise and maintain learning content, curricula and learning assignments.
- Ensure learner records and training data remain accurate and up to date.
- Monitor completion rates and generate regular management reports.
- Support testing of new functionality, system updates and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot user issues and liaise with the implementation partner or system supplier where required.
- Produce user guides and administration documentation.
- Provide first-line support to managers and employees using the LMS.
- Assist with system improvements and identify opportunities to streamline administration processes.
- Ensure mandatory training compliance is accurately tracked and reported.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong administration skills with an interest in learning technologies. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience with Cornerstone.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong data accuracy.
- Confident working with large volumes of information and system administration tasks.
- Good reporting skills, including experience using Excel.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users at all levels.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Experience producing system reports and dashboards.
