A leading organisation in the Tewkesbury area is looking for a number of Quality Engineers to join after huge contract wins. Suitable candidates must have Aerospace experience and hold British citizenship.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the planning and delivery of quality activities across new product introduction (NPI) programmes
- Assist with APQP and PPAP activities, including documentation and submission support
- Work with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality) to ensure products are introduced effectively into production
- Support the development of Process Flows, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities across manufacturing and assembly/test processes
- Help ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS9100, CAA, EASA)
- Participate in internal and customer meetings where required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Exposure to APQP, PPAP, or structured quality planning methods (experience can be developing), but a basic understanding is required.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Awareness of quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively
Desirable:
- Experience within aerospace or other regulated industries (e.g. automotive, medical)
- Knowledge of AS9100, IATF16949, or similar quality standards
- Exposure to NPI or production support activities
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools (e.g. 8D, RCCA)
