Help Shape a New AI‑Driven Platform. This is an opportunity to join a growing UK software scale‑up at a pivotal moment as they build a world-class engineering organisation in Manchester. They are investing significantly in a new AI‑first platform and are building out the core team that will define its long‑term technical direction. As an early architectural hire, you will play a central role in shaping the platform’s foundations. The work spans strategic architectural decisions and hands‑on design, partnering closely with engineering, data and product teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to the organisation’s goals.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Solutions Architect or Principal Architect working on complex, distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of Agentic AI, ideally with experience applying it in production environments.
- Solid knowledge of cloud‑native architectures, including microservices and distributed systems.
- Understanding of secure‑by‑design approaches and modern security practices.
- Experience with API design, integration patterns and contemporary frameworks (.NET, Node.js, React).
- Practical experience with AWS or Azure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
